It’s been a few days since my SUV was finally delivered and I wanted to give myself time to think before writing this. Working with this company was, without exaggeration, a nightmare. The experience was defined by broken promises (pick up date, insurance confirmation, delivery date), blatant misinformation (trying to convince me that I wasn’t at the pickup location when in reality his son never showed up and admitted he mixed up customers and times), attempts to claim I “misunderstood” written agreements, claims of a two week delivery window that never existed, and outright negligence. Messages went unanswered for days. Direct questions like “Where is my insurance certificate?” or “Where is my car?” were ignored repeatedly.
The owner went silent for so long that I contacted Wise Move no less than four times to ask whether I needed to involve the police, because by day five there was still no contact. Only afterward did I learn that my SUV had not even left its original location on the date it was supposed to be delivered. At that point, I was preparing to fly out and pick it up myself.
He also promised to call ahead before delivery. Instead he called twenty minutes before arriving. When he showed up, he casually mentioned that he had a vehicle fire last year and ongoing insurance issues, which he tried to frame as the reason he didn’t deliver my vehicle sooner. This was infuriating, considering he spent over a week assuring me that the insurance certificate would be provided and never mentioned any insurance problems while he had possession of my SUV.
Meanwhile, I had to cover more than a thousand dollars in transportation costs because of his delays. When I tried to calmly explain this, he talked over me, interrupted, and made it clear he had no interest in hearing anything.
To make matters worse, my SUV’s sensors are now malfunctioning. I have no intention of trying to deal with this company any further because I’m sure they will try to convince me it is somehow my fault.
I have never written a negative review in my life, but this one is necessary. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company. If you don’t care about pickup times, delivery timelines, insurance documentation, communication, or the condition of your vehicle on arrival, you might have a smooth experience. But if anything goes wrong, prepare for one of the most stressful and dismissive customer service experiences imaginable.
